Your plans. Your choice of bricks.
We create the digital design. You choose where to buy the pieces, using the shopping files included with your completed build.
Are the bricks included?
No. Your payment to Your World in Bricks covers your custom digital model, PDF building instructions and parts lists. We don’t sell or ship the physical pieces.
Buy pieces separately from LEGO® Pick a Brick, sellers on BrickLink, or another supplier. You can also use matching pieces you already own. You pay the seller directly, and they handle delivery.
How much should I budget?
The estimate beside the checkout checkbox is a rough USD budget for the selected size, separate from our design fee. Your final model, colors, availability and chosen sellers determine the actual price. Shipping and tax are extra.
Once your design is ready, use its parts list to check current prices before ordering.
How detailed will my house be?
Smaller builds simplify the details; larger builds allow more architectural detail. Piece counts are approximate targets. Windows and roofs are stylized, and hidden details are approximate.
We currently support simple detached houses with rectangular walls and a gable or flat roof. Complex houses may need design review.
How do I order from LEGO?
LEGO upload CSV- Open your completed build’s Shopping exports & project files. Download the files labeled LEGO upload.
- Open LEGO Pick a Brick and choose Upload List. Select a LEGO upload CSV.
- If your build has several batches, upload each one once and add the available pieces to your bag. Check the combined quantities before paying.
- Review colors, missing pieces, current prices and shipping, then check out with LEGO.
Use the dedicated LEGO upload files. The complete parts inventory CSV is a reference sheet, not the LEGO upload format. Availability can change after your design is generated.
How do I order from BrickLink?
BrickLink wanted list XML- Download the BrickLink wanted list from your completed build.
- Sign in to BrickLink and open Upload to Wanted List . Choose Upload BrickLink XML format.
- Open the downloaded XML in a text editor. Copy everything from
<INVENTORY>through</INVENTORY>into the upload box. Leave out any XML declaration above it. - Verify the pieces and save the wanted list. Use it to find stores, compare totals and place your orders. Check each store’s shipping costs and whether pieces are new or used.
What if a piece is missing or unavailable?
Compare the supplier files with your Complete parts inventory and Parts availability and mappings report. Supplier exports can omit pieces that couldn’t be matched, so an uploaded cart may not contain the whole build.
You can source missing pieces elsewhere. Keep the same part and color where possible; a different shape may not fit the instructions.
How fast will I get my design?
We deliver within 24 hours after payment (and your photos). If we miss that, you can choose a full refund or a new delivery time. Most designs are ready in about an hour.
If something stops you building it, tell us and we’ll fix it at no charge. If we can’t fix it within 7 days, you can choose a full refund. If a yearly build credit paid for a design we couldn’t deliver, we give the credit back. See the terms for the details.
How do I cancel a membership?
Open Membership and choose Manage or cancel. It takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for; you keep access until then and we email you a confirmation. If you can’t get to that page, email us and a person will cancel it before your next renewal. Yearly members get a reminder about 35 days before each renewal.
After a membership ends, files you already downloaded are still yours to use personally. Designs you bought, claimed free or made with a build credit stay in your account.
