For a closing or housewarming gift, Your World in Bricks designs a custom brick model of the home they just bought from photos of the house, with an illustrated step-by-step instruction book and a parts list for real LEGO® bricks, for $19 at any size, ready within 24 hours.
Bricks are sold separately, so you choose how to give it: build the model and hand over the finished house, or give the bricks and the printed instructions so the new owners build it themselves.
How to give it
- Get photos of the house. One photo of the front is enough to start; 4–12 from around the house give a closer likeness. Use photos you took or have permission to use.
- Choose a size and order the design. From 500 to 4,000 pieces, all $19. Most designs are ready in about an hour. We deliver within 24 hours after payment (and your photos).
- Order the bricks. Upload the parts list to LEGO® Pick a Brick or BrickLink. The bricks ship from that seller, so order early if you want the model ready on closing day.
- Build it, or wrap it. Give the finished model, or the bricks with the printed instruction book as a project for the new owners.

What is a good closing gift for home buyers?

Do I need photos of every side of the house?
No. A photo of the front is enough to start; the designer infers the sides you don’t show. More photos give a closer likeness. Only use photos you took or have permission to use.
Does the gift include the bricks?
No. We design the model; you buy the pieces from LEGO® Pick a Brick, BrickLink or another seller using the files included with the design, and the seller ships them to you.
How long does it take?
We deliver within 24 hours after payment (and your photos). If we miss that, you can choose a full refund or a new delivery time. Most designs are ready in about an hour. Allow extra time for the bricks to arrive from the seller and for building.
How detailed is the model?
It is a stylized brick interpretation, not an exact replica: colors are limited to real brick colors and windows and roofs are stylized. Larger sizes allow more architectural detail. We currently support simple detached houses with rectangular walls and a gable or flat roof.
